Problem:

  Does This Sound Like You?

You've worked hard to build your retirement savings. But the closer you get, the more uncertain it feels.

  • You're worried a single market crash could wipe out years of savings -- right when you need them most.

  •  You've been told to "stay the course" and "ride it out," but that advice doesn't feel right when retirement is just a few years away.

  • You're not sure if you're making costly mistakes with your 401(k) -- taxes, rollovers, withdrawals -- and no one has explained it clearly.

  •  You don't have a plan specifically designed for protecting your money in retirement, only one built for growing it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Consumer Retirement Network?

The Consumer Retirement Network is a nationwide group of financial professionals who came together for one reason: there is too much misinformation and fear-mongering in the retirement space.

We saw too many hardworking Americans getting bad advice - or no advice at all - during the most critical years of their financial lives. So we decided to do something about it.

CRN provides free educational resources, including our retirement guide and free coaching calls, to anyone who wants them.

Our mission is simple: help Americans 59 and older make informed decisions about their retirement.

Who are the retirement professionals in your network?

Every professional in the Consumer Retirement Network has passed state-level background checks, is fully licensed, and held to the highest ethical standards.

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for complaints.

Our members are experienced retirement professionals - including financial advisors, insurance specialists, and retirement planners - who are dedicated to putting your interests first.

Why is the book free?

Because we believe education should come before any financial decision.

Too many people make costly retirement mistakes simply because no one explained the rules clearly.

This book breaks down the 7 biggest 401(k) mistakes in plain English so you can take action on your own -- whether or not you ever speak with anyone from our network.

We believe if we lead with value, the right relationships will follow.

What happens on the free coaching call?

A CRN retirement coach will review your specific situation - your current retirement plan, 401(k), IRA, or other accounts - and flag any issues or risks they see.

The call is 30 minutes, free, and there is no obligation. After the call, you can take their advice and implement it on your own, or if you'd like to discuss further help from your coach, that option is available too. It's entirely up to you.

Will someone try to sell me something?

We believe in being upfront. The coaching call itself is completely free with no strings attached. However, in the course of receiving help from a retirement coach, they may recommend insurance products or other financial solutions that could benefit your situation. All such products are required to be offered through properly licensed advisors, which every member of our network is. You are never under any obligation to purchase anything, and you are always free to seek a second opinion.

Who is this for?

Our resources are designed for Americans aged 59 and older who have at least $100,000 in retirement savings and want to make sure they're not making costly mistakes with their 401(k), IRA, or overall retirement plan.

Whether you're a few years from retirement or already retired, this is for you.

What if I just want the book and nothing else?

That's perfectly fine.

Request the book, read it, and use the information however you see fit.

There is no requirement to schedule a coaching call or speak with anyone.

The book was written to stand on its own as a valuable resource.
